Few things ignite visions of warmer weather and hope for a dose of sunshine more than a pile of fruit on a blanket of saturated colors.
Carving, cutting, shredding, piling, arranging. It never becomes tiresome or old. Taking something whole and revealing all that it is in it’s entirety, even as it disintegrates. There is beauty in that disintegration, that dismantling.
Because after the dismantling, I reconstruct. And that, dear friends, is why i love what I do. Really, at the end of the day I’m a treasure hunter, an excavator of potential, and then, in turn, a builder.
This cover and editorial spread for Edible Indy Magazine was an explosion in color and what humble, natural elements can do.
Drink it in…enjoy.
